Once upon a time, darkness surrounded me,
In
the cloudy night, on the bench, near the tree,
That
time was so cold and no hand to hold,
My
world was empty, no sunshine to lighten my way,
All
that's left was pain, and it was Just never-ending rain,
I
was drowned in tears, My heart was crying.
No
one seems to notice, My soul was dying.
No
one was there to hear,
Years
after, heard a sound that day,
I
thanked God, to found someone near,
An
angel like person came into my life,
And
filled my life with the fragrance and made it paradise,
He
softly hold my hand and gave me a precious gift,
Which
filled up my biggest rift,
Do
you want to know what was that gift?
That
was a book, awaken the giant within.
I
read that book and it makes me realize a lot of things,
I
was protected under a shade and it gave me flying wings,
I
finished my book and out I came.
I
Moved ahead towards my destination,
It
was end of old me, I was no longer the same,
Lips
widened to enhance the smile,
Thinking
about walking a mile,
In
the end, i must say everything was same,
But
I have a book inside me, a loyal friend.
I
listened an unlistened voice of book,
It
said to me, O' my dear, Don't forget me, I am still there
I
will be there for you whenever you will need me.
